Eat Better....You May Be Preventing Cancer
And Other Future Health Problems

Numerous surveys have revealed that the greatest health concerns among women are breast cancer, heart disease, and ovarian cancer. Yet while these concerns are great, many women, according to the surveys, put their own health concerns very low on their priority list.

Many of our patients come into our clinic for various health  disorders including PMS symptoms, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, skin disorders, heart concerns, weight concerns, in addition to cancer concerns. Part of our management plan is to get them on a nutritional and supplement program that will benefit their situation as quickly as possible

After testing, and we determine the individual metabolism and "body type" of the patient, many will be put on a diet that we believe can greatly influence not only a patient's current health situation, but also their future health.

Scientific research makes it clear that any diet that excessively raises a person's blood sugar will increase their risk of cancer. Thus, diets high in simple carbohydrates such as sugar and white flour increase the cancer risk.

These high simple carbohydrate diets do this by many mechanisms including elevating insulin levels but also in raising estradiol levels (increase female cancer rates) and raising dihydrotestosterone levels (increase male cancer rates such as Prostate cancer).

It is interesting when vegetables are eliminated in studies as an independent variable and fruits are looked at by themselves (instead of lumped with vegetables) they do not prevent cancer. It is our opinion that too much fruit consumption by increasing blood sugar and insulin levels would increase cancer rates

So a cancer preventative diet is high in complex carbohydrates from vegetables, legumes, beans, and high in protein.

Elimination of certain foods from your diet can greatly enhance your energy and immune systems. These include: Potatoes, bread, cold (sugary) breakfast cereal,  fruit juices , bananas, white rice, pizza, pasta, muffins, fruit punch,  sodas ,  milk, pancakes, table sugar, jam, French fries,  and  candy. Notice that these are high-carbs, high-sugar, high-fructose things.
