If Ultrafast CT is positive I would:
Bob Filice, M.D.

1. Do a complete biochemistry panel that checks all the known treatable imbalances related to the cause of coronary disease.

2. Test the patient for possible heavy metal toxicity to determine which of the forms of chelation therapy (fast or slow) would be best for this patient.

3. Discuss lifestyle factors of diet and exercise and educate patient appropriately with regards to those factors, and develop a nutrient supplement plan .

4. Consider recommending IV chelation therapy, chelox, or plaque-x depending on the circumstances of the case.

TWO TYPES OF CHELATION

Traditional disodium edta is run over 3 hours and has a strong effect on calcium metabolism and only modest heavy metal chelating ability because of the slowness of the infusion. Clinical experience suggests effectiveness for arterial blockages.

The calcium edta is run over 5 minutes as a IV push, and has strong heavy metal chelating effects because of the higher serum concentrations achieved. It has no effect on serum calcium, and there is not much clinical experience to compare its effectiveness to traditional EDTA.

I choose the fast CT for cardiovascular cases that are heavy metal toxic patients…such as smokers, for those who don’t have time for the 3 hour infusion, and in those who could benefit from a concomitant oxidative therapy (chelox). The infusions are my choice for peripheral vascular disease, stroke patients, those with osteopenia, and non metal toxic angina cases.

The 4 biggest life style changes for a patient with angina are:

1. Examine yourself and look within. See if there is something emotional or stress related that weighs heavily on your heart. Deal with that and heal from it through love, forgiveness, acceptance or whatever else it takes.

2. Find out through testing what the appropriate type of diet is for you. No one diet is right for everyone.

3. Take nutritional supplements right for you, and exercise carefully monitoring your tolerance level as you go along. It’s way better to start an exercise program before you have that first heart attack as opposed to after.

4. You must stop smoking and using caffeine in any form

All medical procedures have risks, these risks should always be discussed with your physician. There is no known cure for arthritis. Prolotherapy can help aleviate, reverse, or end arthritic pain by treating an underlying cause that contributes to degenerative disease, ligament laxity. Strengthening ligaments and other connective tissue can help prevent bone on bone arthritis from developing.
